Overview
We are delighted that you are interested in learning more about Pine Cobble School. Since our founding, nearly three quarters of a century ago, we have provided an outstanding academic foundation in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Guided by our core values – community, character, a safe and nurturing environment, and a passion for teaching and learning, we challenge students from two years nine months through eighth grade to become engaged, active learners who are confident, curious, and compassionate.
Here, we prepare students well – not merely for the next academic stage, but for lives fully lived.
The best way to learn more about the Pine Cobble community is to experience us in action. We invite you to visit us, and spend some time in our classrooms. While you’re on campus, we hope you’ll take the time to notice some of the things that we think make us unique.
Notice, for example, the genuine and meaningful relationships that students form with faculty and administrators, and with fellow students of every age. Notice how engaged our faculty are – the way they eat lunch with students, family-style, every day, then actively engage with them on the playground, in the hallways, and in myriad small moments. Notice how kind older students are to younger students, the way they take leadership roles in creating a community that is warm and welcoming. Notice how everything you see – from the non-institutional campus to the fact that our administrators know every single student by name and personality – respects each student as an individual.
We look forward to meeting you, and to telling you more about the value of a Pine Cobble education.
