It’s an open-studio/open-air cultural immersion with artist and educator Karl Mullen! This week-long exploration of drawing, painting, and sculpture will integrate nature and recycled materials. Students will work in Pine Cobble School’s art studio, as well as outdoors.
Karl Mullen is a gifted educator, folk musician and prolific, self-taught figurative and abstract artist whose work is collected by museums and individuals around the world. Karl has taught art at schools and museums in Pittsburgh and Manhattan, as well as throughout the Berkshires. Karl believes in the power of creativity, in community, and in thinking differently and living joyfully.
Each day runs from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm; families may drop off their children as early as 8:00 am. There is also extended program from 4:00 – 5:30 pm at a cost of $75/week. Program costs $275 for the week if a deposit is made by May 1 and $300/week thereafter.
