This year\, the sale — one of the most popular winter sports sales in the region — will return as one day only. This sale has long been a tradition among winter sports enthusiasts eager to score the best prices for the best equipment; for many area residents\, the event marks the unofficial beginning of the winter season!  \n\nPine Cobble’s Ski and Skate sale offers a vast array of the finest in new and gently-used winter sports equipment\, including both adults’ and kids’ sizes. It features an incredible assortment of ski clothing and equipment from top brands: Rossignol\, Atomic\, Volant\, Dynastar\, Nordica\, Salomon\, Lange\, Oakley\, Marker and many more. Skis (racing & parabolic with current bindings)\, poles\, boots\, snowboards\, snowshoes\, X-country equipment\, hockey & figure skates\, ski clothing\, fleece\, hats\, gloves\, parkas\, pants\, goggles\, winter socks\, liners and accessories for adults and children will be available.\n\nExpert skiers\, snowboarders\, and skaters will be on hand to answer all technical & sizing questions. Major credit cards are accepted\, and Pine Cobble community members will be on hand to help you carry gear to your car.\n\nIt’s a great way to make money too; the school will accept your gently used winter sports equipment for consignment. Consigning your old equipment is a great way to upgrade your winter sports gear\, or to finance new equipment for your growing kids. Consignments for the sale (60% to consignor/40% to school programs) may be dropped off at Pine Cobble on Wednesday & Thursday\, November 2nd & 3rd from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.  All skis must be parabolic/shaped and must have current bindings.\n\nOf course\, donations are always welcome and can be dropped off at the school’s entrance.\n\nThe sale directly benefits children in our community; 100% of the proceeds support educational & extra-curricular programs. DESCRIPTION:Halloween Happenings! \nMonday\, October 31st is Halloween! In the morning\, families are invited to join us at 8:30 for a short\, slightly-spooky assembly followed by our annual Costume Parade on campus. Students may wear their (school-appropriate) costumes to school to participate in the morning festivities. After the assembly\, grades Beginner through Five will march in the Costume Parade with the middle school and grown-ups cheering them on. Students wearing costumes should be sure to have a regular set of school clothes to change into after the parade is over. During the day\, homerooms can choose to share allergy-sensitive\, store-bought\, individually wrapped treats with each other. In the afternoon\, every student will decorate their own pumpkin to bring home at the end of the day! Families are asked to park in the lower lot after drop-off if they plan on attending the morning assembly and parade. Please let your child(ren)’s homeroom teacher know if you’d like to send in treats or plan to join us on campus for the morning assembly and parade! \n
