75th Festivities kick off with a perennial potluck plant sale

WILLIAMSTOWN, MA. Pine Cobble School kicks off a weekend of festivities with its second annual perennial potluck plant sale. In the tradition of the once-popular ABC plant sale, we offer plants donated by your own friends and neighbors.

The plant sale will be held Saturday, May 5, starting at 8:30 in the morning, until 12:00 noon in the Lower School Parking Area

Children are welcome, and there will be baked goods and coffee for sale.

Following the plant sale, there will be alumni field hockey and soccer games. Then, at 6:30 pm, Pine Cobble kicks off its sold-out 75th anniversary celebration, with signature cocktails, food, and the world-renowned George Gee Swing Orchestra. The George Gee Swing Orchestra has played on a double bill with the Count Basie Orchestra, and routinely opens and closes Midsummer Night Swing at Lincoln Center. When rocker Ozzy Osborne turned 50, he flew the George Gee Swing Orchestra to Beverly Hills to play his bash.

It all starts this Saturday at 8:30 AM. Here’s to 75 years!
