WILLIAMSTOWN, MA. Pine Cobble School’s celebrates its Third Annual Family Food Day on November 14, 2015. The event — which includes a 5K run/walk, fundraising for local food banks, an educational farmers’ market with delicious food samples, family activities, and farm animals — takes place at Pine Cobble School, 163 Gale Road, in Williamstown.

Since its inception in 2013, Family Food Day has become a great way to educate children and families about healthful food, and to support the growers in our own region.

Family Food Day will feature local farmers, food-related organizations, and groups that promote environmental sustainability. In addition to kid-friendly taste samples and activities related to sustainable farming, many products will be available to purchase.

The event, open to the public, will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, November 14, on Pine Cobble’s campus.

Farmers’ Market 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Inside in the Pine Cobble dining room, different organizations — farms, food vendors, schools, and nonprofits — will have stations set up based around healthy and delicious eating, environmental sustainability, and fun!
