Brian Francis Keller


S.T.E.A.M.

Brian Francis Keller is a lifelong educator and athlete. He brings to this position an extensive knowledge of and interest in STEAM projects that reach across the curriculum and grade levels. 

For more than a decade, Brian has creatively merged his passions for community, the natural world, and sports through teaching science, physical education, and, most recently, STEAM. Brian is deeply committed to the STEAM approach, as evidenced by his experience developing and teaching an impressive suite of lessons that weave together community, design thinking, and every core component of STEAM: science, technology, engineering, art, and math. His spirited enthusiasm for STEAM and all the opportunities it affords to children will bring a wonderful energy to the classroom.

Currently, he resides in North Adams with his wife. He loves living in the Berkshires! While residing and teaching in the Berkshires, Brian has had the opportunity to teach and network with some extraordinary people who have supported his development of a community-based STEAM curriculum.

Brian earned his initial teaching license in general science. He received his undergraduate degree in English from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and his master’s degree in health/family consumer science from Cambridge College.
