Dean of Culture and Students

Monica Endres has been with Pine Cobble School for almost twenty-five years. In that time, she has worked as the after-school program coordinator, an assistant teacher in the Beginners program, the art teacher for all grades, the school mindfulness coordinator, a member of our social-emotional support team, and the dean of the Early Childhood division. All of these positions have afforded Monica with a deep understanding of children’s social-emotional development, the inner workings of Pine Cobble School, and the wonderful possibilities that lie ahead.

In her newest role, as dean of students, Monica draws on all she has learned from her many positions at Pine Cobble as well as her previous positions in the fashion industry, where she designed and managed for companies including Vanity Fair and Dennis Basso. She has studied with Robert Peng (Qigong), Lama Migmar Tseten (Buddist studies), Tasha Judson (yoga), and the Holistic Life Foundation. In particular, Monica brings to Pine Cobble strong managerial skills, an insightful philosophy, and an empathic approach. She believes that every moment is an opportunity for good things to happen, no matter how things might appear at the time. With a compassionate heart, she seeks to help students realize that no problem or situation lasts forever and everything can be figured out when we work together.
