Academic Divisions

Pine Cobble School features four different groupings to facilitate student learning, character development, and family engagement: Early Childhood (Beginners-Kindergarten), Lower School (Grades 1-3), Intermediate School (Grades 4-6), and Upper School (Grades 7-8). This approach allows students to both acquire and practice academic skills in safe learning environments while also establishing community between them and their families.

Highlights

Between rigorous academic challenges, cross grade level experiences, and campus events, joyful learning is always abundant at Pine Cobble!

Better Together

Members of the Pine Cobble community came together to celebrate the First Day of School by introducing themselves to one another and constructing an art piece that represents everyone at the school.

Division-wide Collaboration

Kicking off the 2024-2025 academic year, our instructors have been deliberate about collaborating with one another in order to craft meaningful shared experiences for their students.

Learning Through Play

Students in grades 1-3 participated in a Division-wide LEGO Challenge that tasked them with creating a new playground. Students across grade levels worked together to build new jungle gyms, slides, pools, and even rock walls!

Hispanic Heritage Month

Our Spanish Teachers, Señor No and don Henry, have been committed to educating our students in both the Spanish language and the cultures that are associated with it. We’re so grateful that they have shared their learning with entire community throughout Hispanic Heritage Month!

Celebrating the enthusiasm, contributions, and presence of those that are part of the Pine Cobble community.

With kindness and energy, don Henry engages his students in language learning with crafts, call in response exchanges, singing, music, and other theatrical techniques. He finds joy in sharing the dynamism of the Spanish language along with the rich cultures associated with Spanish speaking peoples.
