What happens if a child is injured and needs the help of an adult?

Written by Eric Uthus on October 2, 2020

Assisting a child with checking an injury after an accident like a head bump, scrape or cut, or a bruise is essential. Applying ice and or a bandaid is part of that process. To do so requires PPE as described up in the toileting section. Look for opportunities to minimize the time that you are within six feet of one another, and depending on injury, do your best to avoid being face to face with the child.
