Buddy Groups

Feeling valuable, having a strong sense of self, and respecting others is an integral part of being a Pine Cobble community member. Multi-age events and collaborations such as our monthly Buddy Group gatherings, encourage a thriving and inclusive school community. This time spent together fosters connectivity between older and younger students. Giving the older students the opportunity to be role models, to feel appreciated and valued. The younger students revel in these experiences, they feel noticed and valued by the awesome older students. Creating opportunities for connection and quality multi-aged experiences for the students, fosters strong personal friendships and encourages the development of kind and respectful future global citizens. Buddy groups meet one or more times a month, reading together, sharing stories of their life experiences, playing fun games, and making art together.
